The central bank announced today that it will hold its key policy rate steady at 3.25%, in line with market expectations.
Governor Maria Svensson noted that inflation has stabilized near the 2% target and that the labor market remains robust, with unemployment at 4.8%.
"The current monetary policy stance is appropriate given the balanced outlook for economic growth and inflation," Svensson said in the post-meeting press conference.
