Cybersecurity researchers have uncovered a sophisticated malware campaign targeting at least 12 major European banks and financial institutions.
The malware, dubbed "NordSteal" by researchers, uses advanced social engineering techniques to compromise employee credentials and access internal banking systems.
The European Banking Authority has issued an advisory urging all financial institutions to review their security protocols and implement additional authentication measures.
