In a landmark decision, the city council voted unanimously to approve a $2.5 billion public transit expansion plan that will reshape how residents move through the metropolitan area.
The plan includes 15 new bus routes, a 12-kilometer light rail extension, and upgrades to existing infrastructure. Construction is expected to begin in early 2027.
